Jewellery FAQs
What is the jewellery made of ?
Our bracelets are made of crystals that have formed naturally over time without human interference, unless specified otherwise. They are elastic and are made to fit all wrist sizes and to withstand long term usage.
Is it normal that I order two of the same items and they do not look exactly alike ?
Yes! In fact no two of our items will be 100 percent alike because no two crystals, occurring in nature are 100 percent the exact same. Moreover our jewellery is artisanal (handmade) so there will naturally be some variations between two pieces that are 99.5 percent alike, for example. They are unique, just like you!
Why is my jewellery differing in colour from the pictures ?
We try to include pictures which are as accurate as possible when it comes to colour variation but due to differing cameras and lighting conditions it is normal that colour is sometimes brighter or not as bright as in the image. And that is the case with all and any goods bought online.
How to care for my jewellery ?
Gently roll on and off the bracelets when removing from your wrists, so that you don't damage the elastic. Keep in mind that not all gemstones can handle prolonged water exposure and some will dissolve if submerged for enough time. Other than that the bracelets are safe to be worn all the time. In fact we do recommend that you wear them all the time to benefit from their healing properties.
Why did my bracelet break ?
Given that you haven't used them improperly, it is said that when the crystals have done what they could for you and fulfilled their purpose, they break. Sometimes they can break because they've absorbed loads of negative energy as well. In short when the time comes, they break. Trust that it is what is supposed to happen.
What do I do when my crystal bracelet breaks ?
In crystal healing when the stones have fulfilled their purpose for us, we dig a little hole in the ground and we ''bury'' them to send them back to the earth. Always treat your crystals with respect & thank them for their service. Any other way of discarding them is unnecessary (because they are organic materials and biodegradable also).
How do I work with my crystals ?
When you have chosen a crystal that you are drawn to, you should connect with it by holding it in your palms. You have to ''programme'' it with your intention of what you want to achieve and then usually wear it on your non dominant hand, although there are exceptions in which its best worn on the dominant hand.
How do I cleanse my crystals ?
Crystal jewellery naturally absorbs a lot of energies from its surroundings so it will have to be cleansed from time to time. Some crystals can be ran under water to cleanse but others will be damaged. Our personal favourite and safest method to use is to smudge them with sage incense. For that reason we have included wonderful sage incense sticks in our list of products!
